The "Transformers" star is pregnant with her and husband Brian Austin Green's first child together, a source exclusively confirms to E! News.

Talk about having more going on than meets the eye...

More from E: Megan Fox: Tattoo removal is "incredibly painful"

If Fox has her way, the baby could be the start of something big for her and Green, who tied the knot in June 2010.

"I want at least two, probably three kids," the "Friends With Kids" actress says in the April issue of Cosmopolitan. "I've always been maternal."

This will be the second child for Green, who also has a 10-year-old son with ex Vanessa Marcil.

Congrats all around!

U. S. Middle class prospering more than commonly believed, study finds

ScienceDaily (Apr. 23, 2012) ? Long portrayed as stagnant in economic terms, the income growth of the U.S. middle class may be much greater than suggested by economists like Thomas Piketty and Emmanuel Saez, according to a new study at Cornell University.

Median income of the U.S. middle class rose by as much as 37 percent from 1979-2007 says Richard Burkhauser, Cornell professor of policy analysis and management, in the study, "A 'second opinion' on the economic health of the American middle class," published in the March issue of National Tax Journal. In contrast, when Piketty and Saez-style estimates were used, median income increased by only 3.2 percent over the same period.

Unlike the IRS data Piketty and Saez use, Burkhauser's team -- using data from the U.S. Census Bureau's Current Population Survey -- was able to show how much the income picture changes when taxes are subtracted from market income and government transfers such as welfare assistance, unemployment insurance and Social Security benefits are added. The team also adjusted for household size and the value of health insurance -- factors Burkhauser says more accurately reflect financial resources available to middle class individuals.

Says Burkhauser: "When we broaden our measure to include government taxes and transfers and look at households adjusted for size, the gains of middle class Americans are ten times larger. The gains are even more when we include the value of in-kind income such as the value of employer and government provided health insurance."

The study demonstrates how the decisions one makes about what to include when measuring income (market income vs. after tax and transfer income from all sources) and how that income is shared (by tax unit or by household) can substantially change the view of how the average American has fared over the last 30 years, and can have implications for public policy choices targeted at specific income classes.

Burkhauser's co-authors are Jeff Larrimore of the Joint Committee of Taxation, and Kosali Simon, professor of public and environmental affairs at Indiana University.

HTC One X drop tested, inevitable things happen

If you're anything like me, dropping your prized phone is something that could really put a serious downer on your day, week and month. Add into the mix that phone being the HTC One X, and that's just one big nightmare. But what would happen if you did happen to drop it? Thanks to the guys at HTCPedia, we need wonder no longer. It's pretty painful viewing to see such a device get trashed on purpose. Right now mine's sat on a feather pillow having seen this. Enjoy!

Why Search? Let LaunchGram Bring New Product Info To You

lg1Last week at the 10x Xelerator, Andy Sparks impelled LaunchGram.com into motion and lazy people all over the world rejoiced (or they will...eventually). This new service, in the words of Sparks, "aggregates pre-release demand signals for products coming soon." The way it works is that consumers can create an account at LaunchGram's website and subscribe to news about imminently launching products of interest ?(the iPhone 5 for example). Once users subscribe, they can receive "LaunchGrams" via email with curated updates about product release date, pre-order availability, photos and video. (LaunchGram does the dirty work here by scouring the web for the most up to date information about listed products). The same information that shows up in emails can also be viewed on product-specific pages at the main website.

Jon Jones and Rashad Evans make it official at UFC 145 weigh-ins (VIDEO)

Jon Jones and Rashad Evans got nose to nose as they faced off after they weighed in before their UFC 145 bout. Jones usually will look over the head of his opponent during a face-off, but looked Evans right in the eyes as Jones' brother, Baltimore Ravens player Arthur Jones, yelled. Both men were booed as they spoke briefly to the crowd.

The rest of the weigh-ins were uneventful. John Makdessi came in overweight and will pay 20 percent of his purse to Anthony Njokuani. Read on for complete results, thanks to the good people at MMA Junkie.

Verizon's vitals: quarterly revenue up five percent to $28 billion, earnings of $1.7 billion

Verizon quarterly financials for Q1 2012

Verizon is remembering how to turn to subscribers into cash, reporting consolidated revenues up 4.6 percent year-over-year to $28 billion and earnings of $1.7 billion -- boosting earnings-per-share by 15 percent. By comparison, revenues were $27 billion in Q1 2011, and a mere $18 billion last quarter, which resulted in a $2 billion net loss. Big Red's performance is now as strong as ever, with subscriber numbers up five percent to 93 million, and with 47 percent of those customers using insanely profitable devices called smartphones. And that new $30 upgrade fee hasn't even kicked in yet.

OWC's Mercury Accelsior PCIe SSD is Mac bootable, strictly neutral

OWC's Mercury Accelsior PCIe SSD is Mac bootable, strictly neutral

If you've ever tried to jam a regular SSD into your Mac, then you'll know that many off-the-shelf drives feel like they're tailored and tested for, ahem, someone else. Not so with OWC's Mercury Accelsior, which claims to be the only Mac bootable and Mac supported PCIe SSD on the market. Regardless of which platform you use it with, however, the dual-SandForce card promises some neat tricks with its 24nm Toshiba Toggle NAND. Sequential read and write speeds are around 50 percent higher than what you'd get from a regular SATA III drive, with the cheapest 120GB model ($360) offering 758MB/s reads and 743MB/s writes. Random performance is notched up too, with around 100K IOPS in both directions. The 960GB version costs a coldly precise $2,096, but still -- a potential side order for when the Mac Pro line finally gets another refresh?
